Reduce missed collections. No procurement needed.
Residents in your area may already be using BinBosh to set up their own bin day reminders and keep schedules accurate for their neighbours. You can support this — for free.
Talk to us ↓The challenge
Missed collections cost money. Crews return for re-collections, call centres handle complaints, and contaminated bins slow down entire rounds.
Residents forget which bin goes out when — especially around bank holidays, when schedules shift and nobody's quite sure what week they're on.
Leaflets get recycled. Council website pages sit unvisited. Bin stickers fade. The information is available, but it doesn't reach people at the right moment — the evening before collection.
Why now
Extended Producer Responsibility is live in England. The scheme administrator, PackUK, is distributing ring-fenced funding to every English council specifically to improve collection and recycling outcomes — and councils need to demonstrate that funding is being used effectively.
At the same time, Simpler Recycling is standardising what materials get collected, and free weekly food waste collections are being introduced to every household. Services are actively changing, and residents need clear, timely information about what goes where and when.
How it works
Residents find their street
They enter their postcode, find or create their collection schedule, and start getting reminders. Takes about a minute.
Residents build the schedules
Residents become ‘Binfluencers’ — they create and maintain their own street’s bin schedules, and neighbours verify each other’s data. Your team doesn’t need to lift a finger.
Reminders go out automatically
Push notification the evening before every collection. Including bank holidays. No action needed from your team.
You see the results
Fewer missed bins, fewer complaints, zero setup from your side. Interested in how BinBosh is being used in your area? Get in touch.
