What is StreetCred?
StreetCred is BinBosh's community reputation system. You earn points by helping your neighbours keep their bin schedules accurate — creating schedules, confirming collection days, voting on bank holiday changes, and reporting problems. The more you contribute, the higher your reputation — and earn enough to unlock free Premium.
How you earn StreetCred

Schedule creation points are held pending until three neighbours adopt the schedule. This prevents gaming — you only get credit for schedules people actually use.
Build your streak
Check in every collection day to build a streak. Streaks count consecutive collections, not calendar weeks — fortnightly users build streaks at their own pace. The longer your streak, the more points you earn per check-in.

Miss a day? You get one free grace — your streak survives. Premium users get two graces, so you can miss two consecutive collections without breaking your streak.
Celebrate your milestones
At key milestones — 4, 8, 12, 26, and 52 check-ins — you get a celebration with a milestone-specific message. Hit 52 in a row and you've proven serious commitment.
Share your streak card to WhatsApp, Instagram, or anywhere — show your street what consistency looks like.

Your tier and lifetime SC are unaffected — only your redeemable balance is spent. Think of it as two pots: lifetime SC determines your tier (it never goes down), while redeemable SC refills as you earn and gets spent when you redeem.

Bin schedules are only useful if they're accurate. StreetCred incentivises real people to keep the data fresh. When you see a trust badge on a schedule, it means your neighbours have confirmed it — not an algorithm, not a scraper, not a council database from 2019.
