What does it mean?
The ALU symbol means the packaging is aluminium. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable and uses 95% less energy to recycle than to produce from raw materials. This covers drink cans, food cans, foil trays, foil wrapping, and aerosol cans. Rinse, crush if possible, and put in your recycling bin. Clean kitchen foil can be recycled too — scrunch it into a ball (golf-ball size or bigger so it doesn't fall through sorting screens).
