Glass
Recycling binWidely recycled. Use your kerbside glass collection or a bottle bank.
Which bin?
Remove lids, rinse, and put in your glass recycling bin or take to a bottle bank.
What does it mean?
The wine glass icon means the packaging is glass and should be recycled. Glass is one of the most widely recycled materials in the UK. It can be recycled endlessly without losing quality. Remove lids and caps (recycle metal ones separately), rinse, and use your kerbside glass collection or take to a bottle bank. Don't include drinking glasses, Pyrex, window glass, or mirrors: these are different types of glass and contaminate the recycling.
